Booking terms.
These are the terms you agree to when you send us a booking enquiry and when you book an appointment at London's Glitch.
Enquiries and consultations
Submitting the enquiry form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We read every enquiry and reply within 3 working days. Consultations are free and are used to agree the design, size, placement, number of sittings and price before anything is booked.
Age and ID
We tattoo adults only — you must be 18 or over. If you look under 25, please bring valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, as we may ask to verify your age. This is a UK legal requirement and we cannot make an exception, with or without parental consent. If we ask for ID and you cannot show it, the appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be lost.
Quotes and the studio minimum
Our studio minimum is £150. Larger work is quoted by the artist based on size, placement, complexity and the time required, with artist day rates ranging from approximately £250 to £2,000. You will always receive a clear quote before you commit. A quote can change if you significantly change the design or placement after it was given.
Deposits
A deposit secures your date and is deducted from the final price of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable, because the time is held for you and the design work begins before you sit down.
Rescheduling and cancellations
If you need to move your appointment, tell us as far in advance as you can and we will do our best to transfer your deposit to a new date. Cancelling at short notice, or not arriving for your appointment, means the deposit is lost and a new deposit is needed to rebook. If we ever have to move your appointment, your deposit moves with it.
On the day
Arrive having eaten and hydrated, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand. We cannot tattoo anyone who appears intoxicated, and we may decline or stop a session on health or safety grounds. You will be asked to complete a consent form covering relevant medical history before work begins.
Design and artwork
Custom designs are drawn for you by your artist and remain the artist's creative work. We may photograph the finished tattoo for the studio portfolio and social media; tell us if you would prefer we did not, and we will respect that.
Healing and touch-ups
Healing depends on how the tattoo is cared for. Follow the aftercare guidance we give you. If something doesn't look right once it has settled, send us photographs and we will advise whether a touch-up is appropriate.
